WELCOME TO ABREMA
YOUR SPECIALIST IN THE SUPPLY OF ABRASION RESISTANT MATERIALS
Since inception in 1998, ABREMA has been supplying abrasion resistant materials to customers in over 20 countries worldwide.
Our chromium carbide overlay plate ABRACLAD, is one of the most versatile abrasion resistant materials currently available in the market
and offers excellent resistance to abrasive wear, under moderate to high impact conditions.
We also offer a full profiling and fabrication service and unlike through hardened steels,
ABRACLAD can be fabricated and bent into all manner of shapes to suit any application.
The extended ABRACLAD range includes a number of high performance special alloys - A62 / A63 / A64 and A65,
as well as the A60 SB - manufactured using stringer bead, ideal for thinner plates that require severe bending.
We also supply a full range of tubular hardfacing electrodes - ABRATUBE - and flux cored wires – ABRAWIRE –
both of which are the perfect compliment for the ABRACLAD range.
ABRACLAD is one of the most versatile wear resistant materials currently available to the Plant Engineer and Maintenance Manager in today's market.
Offering excellent resistance to abrasive wear under moderate to high impact conditions, the ABRACLAD range of chromium carbide overlay plate is available in a choice of standard sizes and thicknesses:
Offering excellent resistance to abrasive wear under moderate to high impact conditions, the ABRACLAD range of chromium carbide overlay plate is available in a choice of standard sizes and thicknesses:
• 3000mm x 1500mm
• 2500mm x 1250mm
• 4000mm x 2000mm
• Thicknesses – 5mm up to 48mm

ABREMA’s tubular hardfacing electrodes, ABRATUBE are designed exclusively for highly abrasive applications.
An outstanding wear performance of up to 10 times better than standard electrodes makes ABRATUBE the perfect partner for overlay plate and other special hardwearing steels.
Operated under a lower current than conventional extruded electrodes, ABRATUBE provides less distortion and dilution, no burn through and higher deposition rates, even when compared with small diameter wires.
ABRAWIRE is available in a range of sizes, with specifications to suit all applications.
Welding using a flux cored wire is faster than using conventional stick electrodes due to the higher currents that can be used.
This is particularly relevant with larger diameters, therefore increasing productivity on site or in the workshop.
The ABRAWIRE range is open arc, which gives greater deposition rates when welding in air rather than using a gas shield.
